All of the factors that drive our success have now been recognised and validated by the Credit Awards, which has shortlisted mycashline in the Best Company to Work For category, and the Commercial Credit Management Team of the Year category.
The biggest and most respected awards programme in the industry
Credit Strategy’s Credit Awards are widely accepted as the ‘Oscars’ of the credit and financial services industry. It attracts entries from major, established players; rapidly growing fintechs, and exciting start-ups. Everyone will gather (in person!) at the prestigious Grosvenor House in London for the final awards ceremony on 29 June this year.
The Credit Awards organisers say the awards ‘recognise and celebrate innovation, best practice and the hard work of individuals, business divisions and pan-global conglomerates across the entire industry.’ We can’t wait to join all the stars from our industry on the night.
Best Company to Work For
This award is particularly close to our hearts here at mycashline. Entering this award was a no-brainer for us and we weren’t short on reasons why we should be named Best Company to Work For!
This year, we created the acronym GEMS to reflect how we feel about the mycashline team. GEMS stands for our four core business pillars, Growth, Enthusiasm, Maintaining Accountability and Seeing Strategically. Everyone who works for mycashline can take inspiration and support from these four pillars. GEMS runs through everything we do, every day and these values make us who we are.
Over the past 12 months, no member of staff has left mycashline. Existing staff have been actively promoted and supported to help them reach their personal career goals and our remarkable and award-winning management team is behind this affirmative style.
Commercial Credit Management Team of the Year
Hearing that we have been shortlisted for the Commercial Credit Management Team of the Year was a huge reason to celebrate. The team, headed up by Gus, our Head of Credit, Risk and Operations - shortlisted for this year’s Outstanding Leader in Risk award - was integral to the introduction of our new lending-specific CRM.
Each team member contributed to aspects of process mapping, customer engagement insights and defining the communication flow. Alongside our growth, we’ve managed to maintain first missed payment rates among customers, showing our customer-focused approach is working.
In our entry for this award, we were also able to talk about our leadership. mycashline’s founder and CEO, Dovi David, is a pioneering leader whose hands-on approach to growth extends to his staff members. Dovi and other managers sit down with each member of staff regularly and set clear career goals to help mycashline’s team to stay motivated.
All staff are provided with tailored career progression paths. Senior managers set clear KPIs and objectives to ensure roles remain agile and growth-focused.
When we submitted our entries for these two awards, our collective goal, of breaking down the barriers that face small business owners when they need access to finance, was always at the forefront of our minds. This is what drives us to want to grow the business…to provide more businesses with access to our loans. We want to see our business partners succeed and grow their own companies. We want to see them bring their ideas to life and build a future for their families and their staff members. After all, we know from personal experience what a successful team looks like!
